Founder & Creative Director – Life of 1984
Sidhil Subramanian is the Founder and Creative Director of Life of 1984, a cinematic AI-driven production studio focused on high-end visual storytelling, filmmaking, and next-generation creative workflows. With over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Sidhil brings a rare blend of cinema, VFX, and narrative leadership to the studio’s vision. Over the course of his career, he has worked as a VFX Supervisor, Writer, Creative Director, and Director, contributing to more than 50 television commercials (TVCs) and directing multiple short films across formats. His work reflects a strong command of visual planning, performance design, and cinematic language—skills that form the foundation of Life of 1984’s creative philosophy. He directed India’s first two-hour long advertisement film, GIVENTAKER, shot across 10 states in India, currently in post-production. He is presently serving as Creative Director for an upcoming Malayalam feature film titled PERUNNAL, starring Vinayakan, Shine Tom, and others, directed by Tom Emmatty, known for A Mexican Aparatha** starring Tovino Thomas, Neeraj Madhav, and others. At Life of 1984, Sidhil leads with a clear belief: AI is not a shortcut, but a professional production tool—one that demands strong storytelling judgment, disciplined visual planning, and experienced creative direction.
